A married school teacher is charged with sexual assault after police say she admitted to having sexual relations with her 16-year-old male student a dozen times in her classroom.

April M. Novak, 30, of Sussex, Wisconsin, reportedly admitted to cops that she'd had intercourse and oral sex numerous times in her classroom with the student - and said that she knew the relationship was wrong but that it was mutual and the two had 'very strong feelings for each other', according to the Milwaukee Wisconsin Journal Sentinel.

The boy had reportedly agreed not to tell anyone about their relationship, but on December 11 another teacher reportedly saw Novak and the boy embracing, and possibly kissing, inside her classroom and made a report.

Novak's husband filed for divorce on Monday, the day before Novak appeared in court on 12 felony counts of sexual assault of a student by school staff.

Novak was a reading interventionist and literacy coach at Menomonee Falls High School in Menomonee Falls.

She had reportedly worked for the school since August 2013 and had worked previously in the Brown Deer School District.

'Once I found out who it was, that's when I was like 'oh my God.' I freaked out,' said Cassie Hintz, whose 16-year-old daughter, Cali, was a student of Novak's, according to Fox 6 Now.

But Hintz praised the scandal-plagued teacher's teaching abilities: 'She was on point. She made sure my daughter was cooperative, she made sure she was doing her work, and very helpful. I can't believe this is happening.'

A young Muslim Somali student was ‘spat at and called a terrorist’ on a London bus while other passengers ‘smiled and did nothing’, it has been claimed.
Irqa Mohamed, 20, said she was the victim of a racist rant while she was wearing a hijab on the bus in Islington.
She said she ‘did not think she would leave the bus alive’, alleging a ‘crazed’ man spat at her and racially abused her while other passengers did nothing last Sunday.
In a tweet she later deleted, she said: ‘A white man spat at me in a buss [sic] of people and kept on cussing me out cause of my Hijaab while people smiled a laughed along.’

Miss Mohamed, of Finsbury Park, said she was on the vehicle with a friend but when they got up to get off a man started shouting at her.

She told the Evening Standard: ‘He moved seats and then called me a racist and a terrorist. He started to go crazy. He said people like me were coming into this country and taking all the jobs.’

She added: ‘I do think it’s sad no one spoke up for me. The bus was full at one point and you could tell no one wanted anything to deal with him.’
Miss Mohamed said passengers on the bus did nothing to help and some even smiled

Miss Mohamed said the abuse lasted for several stops and did not end until another friend boarded the bus and confronted him.

She made a complaint to the British Transport Police and described her alleged abuser as having long hair and slurred speech.

A spokesman for the BTP said they had logged the incident and passed it on to the Metropolitan Police.

Meanwhile a Transport for London spokesman said racism is ‘not tolerated’ on the bus network and they would work with the police on any investigation into the incident.
